October 23rd, 1999:

Amy Chan Sau-Man , who has not worked in a television series since THE HEROINE OF THE YANGS (MOK GWI YING), will be re-appearing on TV screens in the year 2000. Reports have emerged saying that she has signed a contract for a seven figure salary to appear in a thirty-episode, modern-setting series produced by long time friend Yeung Siu-Hung. In the series, she will be playing a career woman with a strong sense of justice.

 

November 7th, 1999:

Amy Chan Sau-Man will be making a comeback in the historical seires HUNG MAN-DING part of ATV's SIU NIN YING HUNG (lit. YOUNG HERO) series. Chan will be playing an older Yim Wing-Chun in the series that tells the story of a young Hung Man-Ding. The projected twenty-episode series will also star Sherin Teng Sui-Man, Tsui Siu-Keung, and Cheung Sai. Man Hoi will be the action director. The series is supposed to start shooting in December with location shooting to be done in Beijing and Guangzhou.
